Connect and bluetooth connection

Recently I have had issues connecting my Edge 25 to Garmin Connect on my phone via Bluetooth for syncing of activities. It doe not not seem to what to pair with the device.
I have to pair the phone/Device and re-pair to get it to work again.

I am not use if this an issue with the Edge 25, Garmin Connect or the fact I am using a new phone (Samsung S7) as they were all roughly updated at the same time.

anyone else having issues?

    Dont get me started

Bought a fenix 3 HR last week. Paired and synced with my lumia 735 windows phone. Charged and updated the fenix 3 using my PC. Noticed my phone battery had seemed to drain rather quickly with notifications on. The next day watch wouldn't pair, turned phone off and on again and paired as soon as the phone had booted. Tried to sync several times before I successfully synchronised. Phone went from full charge in the morning to less than 20% by night time, it usually lasts over 2 days on a full charge using microsoft band with notifications. Went to a festival over the weekend so turned off notifications. This morning tried to sync, the bar moved all the way from left to almost the right side taking minutes and finished with a sync failed message. Tried several more times without success.
I turned off bluetooth on phone and when I turned it back on, the fenix 3 failed to connect. I had to turn my phone off and on again, fenix 3 was connected as soon as the phone had finished booting. But it still failed to sync in over 20 attempts.

This almost renders my fenix 3 useless.

Do you have location services turned on? You need that for Android 6.

Hmm... I am fairly sure that location services are on when using connect...will check adn make sure the next few time s I use it and see if that is the issue
  • This is still happening every now and again....but seeing as I am not seeing much complaints from other people could this just be something with my phone?

If I delete the device from Garmin Connect and then search and connect it again it works fine.
