This device isn't set as your activity tracker. Change this setting in Garmin Connect

Hello! First post here. I exchanged my 735XT for a 735XT HR-Run bundle yesterday. I removed my old device from Garmin Connect, but can no longer finish a sync for the new one, using Garmin Express for OS X. It attempts to sync and then gives the error: "This device isn't set as your activity tracker. Change this setting in Garmin Connect." There is no way to do this on the Garmin Connect site! I've factory reset the device, uninstalled and re-installed the software an removed it from Garmin Connect. It works perfectly with Garmin Connect for iOS, however. I see the data on the Garmin Connect site!

I've e-mailed Garmin and am awaiting their reply. Has anyone else experienced this problem? It's just frustrating, everything was working perfectly before the exchange.

    I have a similar problem

    My wife and I both have the 920xt and we have both have not been unable to sync our step data since July 20. We get the same message "This device isn't set as your activity tracker. Change this setting in Garmin Connect." I can not find where to change this in Garmin Connect.
  • What about on the device widget?

    If not there, if you delete the device from Express or from GCM, and set it up again, it should ask you if you want it to be your primary tracker.
