garmin connect not letting me edit details

My swim sync from my vivo active but it missed a few turns so trying to correct the distance but when I select edit it isn't letting me update the details just the name. It used to work. Anyone know if this is a bug or if there is a new way to do it?

There's a workaround.

Change the activity type to open water swimming, make the change, and then change it back.

For some reason, Garmin doesn't seem to want you to make changes to swimming activities in a pool.

that fixed it. Didn't use to have to do that but guess the developers thought this way was "better"
