Adding a second device

Can anyone tell me how to add a second device to Garmin connect? I have done some searches but the steps mentioned don't appear on my mac the devices in question are Forerunner 305 and Forerunner 225?

You add them through Express. Start Express and just click the + sign to add a device.

Express & Connect

Is there a difference between the two? Mine system comes up as Connect and the + button at the top right of the screen doesn't give an option to add a device.

Garmin Connect is the cloud-based service, which users can access either using its web interface in a browser, or using Garmin Connect Mobile apps running on (Windows‑10 Mobile, iOS and Android) mobile devices.

Garmin Express is an application that runs on OS‑X and Windows, and (unlike accessing Garmin Connect online in a browser) has to be downloaded and installed before use.

It is not a front-end/client of the Garmin Connect service, even though there is a big Garmin Connect button on one of the pages; clicking on that simply brings up Garmin Connect online in the default browser.
