    Still not working

I have tried 3 different devices, and multiple browsers - Firefox, Chrome, IE, Edge, Safari. Same result on all of them - blank blue screen, with the icons on the side. When you choose an icon nothing happens. Very frustrating.
  • Different PC? Different ISP?

Check your AV and ad blocking settings, Ghostery in particular often causes issues.
  • Not working under multiple OS and browsers

I get the empty screen with MS Edge 25.01586.0.0 or Explorer 11.420.10586.0 or Chrome Version 51.0.2704.106 m (64-bit) under Win10, Chrome same version under Ubuntu 16.04, as well as Chrome same version under Android 5.1.1 on a tablet. Hmmm, well maybe it could be that version of Chrome except for the Edge and IE same-problem. Connect app on Android is not affected.

So, I would say definitely a problem at or beyond the server for the Connect site.

    Working now

I have no idea why, the only thing I did was update my Chrome (and clear my browsing data, but I had done that before) and now it is working on Chrome and Edge. I haven't bothered to try the others. Just happy it's working!!! Thanks to everyone who tried to help.

Have never had problem using Garmin Connect.
Now just blue unresponsive page for 2 days as others describe.
Use Mac Pro, Safari, not Chrome. Cleared history and preferences.
    Emailed Garmin support no response.
    Garmin get on this problem.

    Garmin Connect Log-in

Site Error: Unable to Load Site Preferences; No Preferences Found

I have also been getting the above message when I try to log into Garmin Connect. I use a Mac. This has been going on for about a week now. Is there an answer or resolution?
  • Garmin get on this problem.

If you read some of the posts above you'll see that in some cases above it has nothing to do with Garmin, and in the past when this has come up it hasn't either. If you have for example Windows set to automatically update things may be changed without you even realising.

Having said that, if it is a Garmin error you won't get it resolved by posting here, you'll need to call them tomorrow when Product Support is open.

    Hi all,

This is why think that forums like this are a total and complete waste of time. It is always someone else's problem. Have been getting nothing for at least 3 days on Garmin Connect (Except the blue screen) on multiple computers and different browsers, but this morning it seemed to start working by itself on Firefox and with a settings default on Chrome. But alas that was short lived and it again is not working. I believe nothing has changed in my computer in a couple hours to make it stop working again.

Garmin needs to get on this.
  • Still working fine for me, and has done for quite a while now. As I said, pretty much every time this issue has been reported it's been a problem at the user end, but if it's not then no one here can help you, since this is mainly a user to user forum, you need to contact Product Support.

As for usefulness of these forums, if you look you'll see that lots of issues are resolved. However some issues require help from Product Support.

    Garmin Connect

Being in IT support, there are multiple reasons why a site will or will not function properly.
I called Garmin Support and they told me that the issue was on my side. Really? After a remote session showing them what was happening, the lower support staff was told by the software developers that http://connect.garmin.com does indeed have an issue for some people.

I've not had access to the website since last Wednesday and I had been using it for several YEARS! I have a Forerunner 910XT and recently purchased a Forerunner 920XT.

Very irritating that a company would rather point fingers than figure out what the issue is.
