Is there a way to do a "manual upload" to Connect? (no Express plug-in)

In another thread i saw somebody mentioned "I always do a manual upload to Connect".

Does anybody know how that is done?

If i use Garmin Express, it takes like 45 minutes usually. (On training center it takes about 5 minutes, but thats the "old, unsupported" software, while Connect, the "modern, new" software takes way longer).

I'd like to bypass the Garmin Express plugin and just "upload" if possible. Express is nice as it automated (no clickgin), but it just takes too long.

I have an Edge 705. Yes it still works...just fine!

reply: no import button in Activities

According to the post above:
Go to Menu, Activities, select "Import" button.

I see no such button under Activities.

If i go to the menu, then "Activities", there is a big button "Add to Dashboard" and a specific activity profile under that. No "Import" button.

Here is the image. Actually now that "Add to Dashboard" button is gone too.

So, any way to find that "Import" button?

Simple. Click on the white cross in the blue, white rimmed circle in the top right . You should then be able to follow the simple instructions.

Try hovering the mouse pointer on top of the › to the far right of the lit item in the ‘hamburger’ menu after clicking on ≡.

So, any way to find that "Import" button?

By observing.

Heh, it did work and i can upload! Thanks very much. This is way better than using the automated sync. It takes like 10 seconds...instead of 45 minutes. A few more clicks, but well worth it!
