"time in zone" Any options, thinking of dumping connect (and maybe garmin)

Currently using an old forerunner 305 and a Edge 810
I'm sure when I first got the 305 I had Time in Zone (heart rate) on the Training center.
Whatever, I can now get it on Strava, just not on Connect.

Thing is, its a premium (subscription) item on Strava.

Any other Apps (windows 10 or Android) that measure TiZ as I'm considering starting a HR training program.

(Obviously the 305 may be on its way out, so with such 'basic' functionality not available on GC, I may start looking elsewhere for its replacement.... Might even start using the fitbit/phone and dump the 305)

If you want to see time in zones, you could go back to using Training Centre as you did before.

If you want this feature in Garmin Connect note this reply from Garmin (from another thread):

The only devices that support the Time in Zone feature are:
    • fenix 3
    • fenix 3 HR
    • Edge 520
    • epix
    • Forerunner 225
    • Forerunner 230
    • Forerunner 235
    • Forerunner 630
    • Forerunner 920XT
In addition to the Time in Zone feature the Edge 520 shows power zones in a similar chart.

If you do not have a device that is listed above you will not see the option for Time in Zone in Garmin Connect or Garmin Connect mobile at this time.

    Ta,
I'm slowly moving on with tech. Don't know if software discontinued 4 years ago would still work and my Yoga has no CD drive before I even go looking for the disc. The more I look the more I think I'll switch from Garmin. I might just link my fitbit to the gps on my phone and get more functionality appropriate to myself in the meantime.
Fitbit have realised that the softwares a pretty big positive.... garmins seems to have a pretty big hole which people have been shouting about for a while?
If I have to subscribe to Strava, so be it.
    .
Now to check out long term alternatives for the hardware....
