Creating a course using my segments ?

Hi, I would like to create a group course using our trail segments. is this possible?
When I go into the course creator all i can see is a map. i do not see my trail segments on the map and i do not see any options to "create a course using segments".

i suppose i could just ride the course with my gps unit in record mode then upload it then turn it into one very large segment... which would be the course.

has anyone else figured out how to build a group course using trail segments?

You can only create a course from an activity in Garmin Connect so your best bet is to ride the route as you suggest. Then create a course from the resulting activity (or create a segment if that is what you want).
