Livetrack - No Signal. Trying to reconnect

I have recently changed from Forerunner 220 to a Forerunner 235 and when I start live track on phone/watch all appears to be tracking ok on phone and watch, however, when I get home the people I sent tracking emails to followed the web link but all the web page says is 'No Signal. Trying to reconnect '. Then once I stop live tracking, the route I ran appears on Web page.

To try to resolve I have tried deleting and re-installing the app on my iPhone 6s, I have gone into Garmin Connect web site and deleted rather than retired my old Garmin 220 in case that was confusing the issue and I have also ensured that the Wi-Fi connection on my phone is turned off before starting livetrack.

Has anybody else managed to successfully resolve this problem?
  • Hi, did you ever get an answer to this? I Am starting to use livetrack but seeing the same issue

    Could be power management related...

    Hi

I had the same problem with a Garmin Edge 1000 and Samsung Galaxy S6.

I was able to resolve it by changing the power management settings to ignore the Connect app - essentially allowing it to use as much power as needed.

However, I recently changed to a new phone, Google Pixel XL, and am now having the same problem. I have a support case open with Google and am waiting for their reply.

Have the same problem with my Garmin Edge 1000 have a Galaxy S10 Plus

  • Edge devices have problems with Live Track on the recent version of Garmin Connect Mobile v4.30. Garmin Support is aware of it, and a fix will be released with the nex version of GCM. If you need to use Live Track urgently, consider downgrading to v4.39 that tou can download from diverse unofficial APK archives.
