Garmin Connect super-slow...is TrainingCenter download available anywhere.

Got a new PC, cannot find Training Center download. I had always previously used Training Center with my Edge. And, I was happy with it. Would not have on my own wanted to change.

Using Garmin Express/Connect, it takes like ~45 minutes from the time "sync" starts and it finishes. Doesn't that seem ridiculously long for a brand new i7 processor with 16GB memory? With Training Center this used to take about 2-3 minutes.

Questions.

Is there any way to speed the sync of Express/Connect up..some option i do not have selected or something?
Is there still a download point where i can download Training Center?

I moved from Training Center to Connect about 2 years ago. While Training Center was OK, Connect has a lot more options.

There is no way syncing to Connect should take 45 minutes. 10 to 20 seconds would be more like it. If you only ever synced one time, it's possible that Connect and the Edge had some catching up to do.

I have a vivofit sitting in a drawer and occasionally when there is a firmware update, I sync to update it. That sync involves weeks of 0 data but it still has to catch up. I would try it again.

If it is still slow, check how you connect to the internet. It was quite a while ago but I once had an issue because my VPN software was interfering with my connection.
