Can't edit swim distances anymore?

My 920xt will often add extra lengths...for example I swam 72 lengths & 1800 meters today but the watch logged 73 and 1825 (This isn't an error on my part because an even number of lenghth puts me at the same side I started on).

It used to be an easy edit but now it looks like I can only edit the name, course, temp and YouTube link. Am I doing something wrong?

I really wish I could just get connect classic again...I don't need the social stuff.

    There are other threads on this - it is still possible to edit just more convoluted - like you I miss some of the simple functionality of classic but we just have to keep bombarding Garmin support where we lose functionality that is fundamental like this

    It seems to be a regression on their web site, which only affects Lap Swimming.

    The workaround is :

    • Edit the activity
    • Change the type to Open Water Swimming
    • Change the type back to Lap Swimming


    You should now find that the distance, pool length, pace etc fields are editable. Note however, that it won't automatically maintain the dist = pool-len x lengths formula, so if you change distance you may also need to update the lengths.
