Nothing working on Garmin Connect or my Fenix 3

Since the new up dates my swimming is only showing half of my laps, my golf has disappeared, my Approach 8 will not sync. What is going on with Garmin. Tomorrow I'm going for a bike ride, I hope I don't have problems.
Is any body having the same issues? Please let me know that I'm not the only one.

Vivoactive HR appears to be bricked, stuck with update complete screen

I am having a similar issue.
It states "Update Complete" on screen of Vivoactive HR this morning.
Message unchanged despite pushing both buttons.
Appears to be "bricked" with that message on screen.

@JimGX If you are still having this issue please press and hold the power button until the screen goes blank. This will reset the device and should force a restart. Please reach out to Garmin Product Support (www.garmin.com/support) if you are still having trouble.

I have restarted my Fenix 3 . The swimming is still off and I have called Garmin Support, they said it is the way I'm swimming and pushing off . I swim the same as I did before the update, before the update no problem.

After calling Garmin support and receiving an email, I don't think they know what is wrong. I have done everything the said to do and my Fenix 3 is still not registering the right amount of lengths. The first two are right , then after that it shows I only did 1 length at at 4 times the time no matter what stroke I do. If anyone knows what is happening or like I email Garmin support I'll be looking for a different company that dose the same or almost the same thing that the Fenix 3 , and I'll switch to it. Really disappointed in the support and product by Garmin.
  • I have a similar issue. Watch was recording pool lengths reasonably accurately until a recent update. Now it goes haywire for the first 14mins before finally settling down with the occasional blip. Do Garmin actually test their updates...?

I don't think Garmin checks to see if something is affected when they do an update. I believe they just hope everything works fine until people complain about the new update messing up something else on their Garmin. I hope Garmin comes up with a fix soon.

I tried something this morning. My first 3 lengths I swam freestyle and 1 length breaststroke. It showed the right amount of lengths and distance. Then I did 2 lengths breaststroke and 2 lengths freestyle, it was short. Then I did 4 lengths all breaststroke and again short. Then I did 1 length freestyle and 1 length breaststroke and then that all over again. It came out right. Tomorrow I'll try alternating my lengths , starting with freestyle and breaststroke and see if that works, so I can swim 1000 yards with out stopping and starting again , also I won't have to adjust how far I went on Garmin Connect. I'll post what I find out.

Just finished my morning swim and my Fenix 3 seems to be working fairly well. I hope to try again later today. I had to alternate between freestyle and breaststroke every other length.
