Total Weight Loss

Is there a way to view total weight loss?

As it stands, it seems to only display the difference between the last time you entered your weight and the currently entered weight.

Thank you.
  • I haven't found this anywhere either. I'm surprised things like this are missing. It's no wonder Fitbit is so successful.

Even though I prefer Garmin over Fitbit, it astounds me that Garmin doesn't add all the data found on the Fitbit dashboard.. :(
  • It's no wonder Fitbit is so successful.
… in spite of inferior hardware specifications, capabilities and quality.

That's the beauty of industry competition, though; there are so many ways to remain viable in the game, and different brands/manufacturers can excel in one area while falling behind in others. Consumers get to have a breadth of choices, and decide what is the best compromise (from their personal perspectives) in exchange for their hard-earned dollars. :)

To view the total weight loss the only way you have note it down as you start your weight loss journey and keep updating whenever you weight your body again.

It is quite easy to see weight loss in the last 12 months from the graphical display on the "Weight" page.

You can also cycle further back in the data if you want to know your weight at some particular point in time more than 12 months ago use <> icons next to the "Today" button.
  • Yeah, you can see your 12 month weight declines/inclines on a chart, but it doesn't show you the total weight loss number until you do the calculations. The best way I found to easily get your total weight loss number is to use the 3rd party myfitnesspal.com by clicking "MY HOME", then you'll find the number at the bottom left corner of "Your Daily Summary."
