Unwanted ads

When I open garmin connect on pc ( Windows 10 and both chrome and I.E.) I am getting ads all down the right side of the screen and unwanted new tabs opening trying to sell me stuff. This behavior is only associated with opening garmin connect. I have to reset dns settings every time I open connect as I get new defaults added that allow the ads to run. Any ideas what the problem is?

Never seen any ads on Connect, using IE11.

Sounds like you have some malware on your systems or a browser issue.

Never happens to me either in Chrome or IE11.

Fixed

Thanks for responses. Found an unauthorized default dns IP address had been installed by some malware. Dns unblocker now removed and all is working as expected.

These problems are happening from your antivirus. You have to stop or block the popup ads from your antivirus settings then I hope you shouldn't be getting any and you can successfully connect to the Garmin Connect from your computer. This link can help you there.
