Garmin Fenix 2 not ejecting properly

After transferring data and charging using my Mac Mini I eject my Fenix 2 using Finder but the screen seems to freeze showing the connect sign but it does not go back to showing the time. In order to fix I have to do a soft reset.. every time.. This is getting boring. Is there a fix for this issue. Thanks, Rory
