Activity privacy problem

I have the privacy on my activities set to connections and groups, but today the leaderboard in my groups has my steps hidden. I've checked and I definitely have it set to show in groups. I've changed it and then changed it back to reset it, and for a short time my steps show on the leaderboard again, but the next time I come in, it's locked tight again. Anyone else seeing this problem?
Now it seems to be accepting my settings again, except that it's not counting yesterday's steps, only today's. Weird. It's all fine on the step challenge; just strangely out of sync on the groups' leaderboards.
