Connect is changing vivosmart miles

When uploading vivosmart HR to Connect, connect is nearly doubling the miles walked. Monday showed 9.1 miles for 21,554 steps but connect changed that to 14.8 miles. Tuesday shows 11.1 miles for 16,573 steps which should be closer to 7 miles and Wednesday shows 17.5 miles for 24302 steps - should be 10.3 miles. This works out to 1400 steps per mile when my normal stride length is 2.2ft per step or about 2300 steps per mile. Everything before Monday is correct and Monday originally showed the correct miles but changed when I uploaded on Thursday. The setting in Connect still show 2.2 feet per step and 2370 steps per mile. This coincides with software updates that were pushed onto the unit beginning Tuesday.
