Delete downloaded golf course

Does anyone know how to delete a downloaded golf course, either through Garmin Connect or the garmin connect app? My Vivoactive is displaying Hole -1 for a course and not letting giving me yardage or enter scores. Apparently it's a known issue and I was told to delete the golf course and re-download.
This does not work for me. Deleted all courses from Garmin Connect - but three courses remain as downloaded after that. I am unable to download my home course as it appears under an old name.
Does uninstalling/reinstalling the Garmin Connect app make any difference? You might try clearing cache for the app through your phone settings as well.
