Keyword Search not working

Hi,
Keyword search is not working again. It is only showing data of April :-(. Please fix the search Garmin folks....we need the search to work so that we can compare our previous workouts!!

  • Interesting. I've stopped using the Notes field in activities to track when I experienced knee pain, but now as an experiment I added the keyword ‘pain’ into the Notes of two recent runs in May, and when I applied a keyword search, only activities in March and earlier are returned.

    Thanks for noting the error in the current system behaviour.
  • There does seem to be a problem with search. It does not appear to return results more recent than 4th May 2016 for me.
    Just now I added the word “blah” to the Notes field for three activities – dated 1/5/2016, 4/5/2016 and 5/5/2016 respectively – and none of them show up when I do a keyword search for “blah”.

    Keyword search is not working for me either. A newly added activity does not appear when I do a search. Not from my PC or iPhone. Only old activities that contain that keyword appear in the search results.

    Hi guys, what happened with the solution of this issue.

    I'm still experiencing the same errors others has reported.

    Keyword search is leaving out of the result most recent activities and that is a absolute PITA.

    Garmin folks, please be nice and address this matter ASAP. we ALL need to compare our old activities with the one we just finished, therefore, the most recent one.

    Have you raised a complaint with Garmin's Product Support for your local market? Coming here to muse on the issue out loud on a users' discussion forum is not the way to request service as a customer.

    Isn't precisely that what the other users are doing here too?
  • No, we're simply talking about the issue we observed as fellow Garmin Connect users, in an information exchange kinda way. We cannot reasonably expect Garmin to attend to us here as if this amounts to a customer requesting or demanding some sort of service obligation to be fulfilled.

    If you want service, then use the proper channel, and away from open view. You're of course welcome to do that and also tell others here what you've done, but don't expect to kill two birds with one stone and only have to raise the issue (once) on your preferred channel; it doesn't work that way.
  • SEarch Engine is really very poor and with random behaviour.
    I.e. I name my run with number of km and kind of running (14LR, 10FR,...). I in search engine I write FR it finds only some results if I write 10FR different ones. In 2016 in the era of bigdata of course garmin uses it's unbelieavable
  • Garmin, please take care of it ASAP

    It's an essential feature.
