Elevation Graph

I'm not sure if this is a bug or whatnot, but I get frustrated by the elevation graphs. On a recent run my lowpoint was 1252' above sea level and I topped out at 1483 feet. There were many little ups and downs along the way. When I look at the elevation graph, however, the Y-axis ranges from 1000' to 1750'. The resultant line just looks like a straight line with little bumps, all the detail is washed out and it turns out to be a useless graph.

It would rock if the Y-axis was closer to reality, so on this particular run, 1200'-1500' would have been appropriate.
  • actual highs and lows

Why not allow the graphs to use the actual highs and lows of the run for elevation and pace/speed. The graphs are useless and the fix should be simple...

    wouldn't hold my breath

I really wouldn't hold my breath. This has been an issue for over a year now, so doesn't seem to be too high on Garmin's interest list. Even worse, the elevation and pace are very nicely scaled on connect smartphone app, so it can't be an issue with the data itself.

It was possible to rescale the graphs with Classic but Garmin, in its wisdom, chose not to include this in Modern. So much for evolution.
