GarminConnect and Activity trackers do not match with active calories?!?!

Something has happened to the active calories in Garmin Connect.
My activity tracker (fenix 3 hr) says I have 250 active calories and garmin connect says that I have 300 active calories.
The active calories are always higher on garmin connect.
In the evening my fenix 3 hr says I have 1100 active calories but garmin connect says 1250 calories after I sync.
The resting calories are on spot all the time. But the active calories are off. Is it a bugg in the latest software?
My wife has a vivoactive HR and the exact same thing happens to her.

Please check your activity trackers and look at your active calories then compare to the active calories in garmin connect after you sync (sometimes it can take a little while to complete the sync).
  • You should show the interaction to someone in your life who cares about you and is honest with you. My guess is most people you "help" would be better served if you tried a little self-reflection.

  • Sorry, there was no intension in my answer to offend you. I may be brief, and perhaps sound differently than I intend to (English is not my native language), but I honestly tried to help you, and point you where to search the solution for your problem, since this is not the right place for it. Posting off-topic questions in a randomly chosen thread is not the best way to get answers.

If you own an Instinct 2, and look up the Connect IQ store watchfaces for the term "active calories", you will certainly find a bunch of them. And if you post a question to the Instinct (2) forum, you may get an answer from a fellow user of instinct (2), who already found a solution for your issue. They do not necessarily hang up here, on the Garmin Connect Web forum.

  • Nah, your answer was good, don't see anything wrong with it, he just didn't ask any question, so probably didn't really expect any replies, vague posts are often simply ignored.
