Hi, I am having problems with a course I recently recorded in Sri Lanka, which is to be used to navigate riders around the stage during a forthcoming race.
Unfortunately whilst recceing the track we went slightly off course by around 1km. Once I realised this I turned off the Garmin and returned to the point where we had gone wrong and then turned on the Garmin again. I uploaded the .fit for the stage into Garmin Connect and then saved it as a Course. I was able to delete the section where we went wrong, but in Courses there is no option to convert to KML, (which we also give our riders). So I resent the revised course to the device, with the idea of reloading it into Garmin Connect as an activity and then converting it to KML, but got the error message that one of the files could not be loaded.So then I used an external .fit to KML converter (GPSies) to convert the revised course (with the diversion deleted) and opened in GoogleEarth, but the revision didnt show up and the diversion was still there. So now Ive run out of ideas of how to get the revised course as a revised KML, and need some help!!
