Garmin Vivofit 2 missing data

Hello, I've encountered a problem after last syncing of my Garmin Vivofit 2 with my PC. Garmin Connect does not show me any data between May 6th and May 10th, although I was wearing it as usual. It did record the data before and after this period without any problems. It also says my batteries are low and I should replace them. I have read many times that batteries in Garmin Vivofit 2 last for about 1 year. I have had my Garmin Vivofit 2 for almost 4 months, which seems to me way too little time for the battery replacement, compared to other users.

I recently change my batteries about 2 years after I bought my Vivofit (first edition). I, too have lost some data -not the stuff that's been held on the device awaiting synchronisation - but everything I had synched before. I still have the 'low battery' warning. This forum says to try removing the device and re-associating it. That hasn't worked ANY IDEAS, GARMIN?
