Recent Rides Not Showing Up in Searches

Hello Everyone - My rides from this week for some reason are not showing up when I do a filtered search to compare them in Garmin Connect web app. My rides from May 8th and May 11th do not appear when I do a search for rides with those names. I am using the search filters properly - the rides are named just like the other rides that are generated from the search but for some reason, no matter what key words I use, this week's rides do not appear.

The only rides that appear in my searches are rides May 5th and earlier.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Another Garmin Connect glitch I think. For some reason, the search facility fails to return the most recent activity matching the key word used.

A work round is to manually create a new activity that includes the key word in the title and search again. Garmin Connect will ignore the "dummy" activity and return the ones you are looking for. (Not exactly elegant, but it usually works)

Thanks for the reply mickw46 - I was thinking along the same line and had already tried creating several dummy activities but it didn't work for me. I also thought maybe if I changed the dates on the recent activities (to dates before the search filters stopped working properly for recent activities), but that doesn't make the activities show up either...

Oh well - I hope this gets addressed soon. I love my Garmin Edge 1000 and all of the valuable data it generates. I also love Garmin Connect for how it stores, compiles and sorts all my data easily and efficiently. One of my most enjoyable routines is coming off of a really good ride and seeing how it stacks up against my previous rides on the same route.

Sean ~ you are right, my suggestion does not work. It would seem that there is another problem. Sorry to have wasted your time.

No worries and no waste of time - just because that workaround doesn't work now, doesn't mean it didn't in the past. My hunch is that this may have also been an issue at some point(s) in the past as well.

I'll be patient and hope they fix it soon. Thanks again!
