No possibility to connect Edge 1000 with GC anymore

I got a new Edge 1000 device and cannot connect it anymore with my two old or a new Garmin Connect account. Tried it also after a reset of my Edge, deleted all old devices from Garmin Connect and myGarmin. Alway get a '... please wait, can last some minutes' after trying to connect the Edge with Garmin Connect via Garmin Express - for hours. Same when I try to set up a new Garmin Connect account. Any help? Thanks!
