Can't log in to Garmin Connect app

I've had this problem for a while now, I cannot log in to my garmin account on my mobile device. I've returned the phone to factory settings, I've deleted the app and reinstalled. I've run it without WIFI, with WIFI, with location, without location.
I simply cannot fathom what is wrong. I have a HTC one M8, and it has worked fine previously.
I get this read when I click either log in or create account:
WE'RE SORRY
Something went wrong, and our site is temporarily unavailable. We're already working to get things back on course.
You can try refreshing the page or find infirmation about Garmin on these sites.

I then try and check the server status and everything is online.

Please help,

    Try connecting with WIFI. That is why I couldn't log in.

    I have exactly the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy S5 and the wi-fi makes no difference. I still have the same error message.

    Is that the problem would be my version of Android (6.0.1) ?
