I can confirm I'm experiencing the same issue. The activity is recorded, but it wasn't listed on the main summary screen and News Feed of the iOS app. It was also missing from the Connections view on connect.garmin.com.
I'm have the same issue. Two runs yesterday - both synced and show up in Activities. However neither show up under Connections on the site or Leaderboard on the app.

Activities sync correctly and are shown under "activities" but not on My day, News, leader board or reports.
On Friday it was laggy and took almost an hour to appear, yesterday and today not updating.
Same here. Activity uploads ok but not in any feeds, connections, reports or summary for weekly activity time.
Started today (yesterdays activity was ok).
Not one reply from Garmin - what was the point in spending over €500 on a Garmin Edge 1000 if it can't even upload any of my activities? This is a joke of a company.
