For some reason I can't compare an activity today with one the same time last year. One is on the first page and one on page 11. When I leave the first page having ticked the activity it does not seem to store it. Any ideas please?
A work round for this problem is to do a search so that the two activities appear on the same page (use any criteria common to both as a search term eg word in title or bracket the distance travelled tightly - use the "Show Filters")
Thanks. I tried that and put the same word in the title of both events. However when I searched for that word only the earlier one came up. It's as if it can't see the one I did recently that i want to compare it to.
Yes, there does seem to be a glitch in the search that causes the most recent result to be left out - one way round this is to manually create another activity containing the same key word and then search (or simply add the key word to the title of a more recent activity). You can always delete the "dummy" activity later. It is all a bit clumsy but at least it will enable you to compare the two activities!
This does not work for me. I made a dummy entry on page 1 after the one I want to compare. However if I tick the activity on page 11 then go back to page 1 the item I ticked is no longer ticked and vice versa so the compare activity link does not get highlighted.
You still need to do a search after making the dummy entry in order to get the two activities you want to compare on the same page. You may have to refine your search (use keyword and filters) to do this.
