Tracking goals for consistency

Is there any way to add a goal to track consistency of activities daily or a number of times a week over a period of time? I know I can look at the calendar and see the days that I have run, but it isn't quite what I'm looking for. I want to set up a tracked goal to run a mile everyday for the rest of the year, but I can only see how to do a total mileage goal for the year. There are two problems with a mileage goal for the year, 1) it will be completed way early if I set it to 366 (leap year) miles for the year, 2) it does nothing to track consistency.
If this functionality isn't currently available, and Garmin employees ever read these forums to get ideas for improvements, my ideal would be that the "% Complete" bar would show a red portion and percentage for days missed, a green section with percentage for days completed and the rest grayed out.
