I used to be able to edit my swimming activities on Garmin Connect, but now you can't edit the number of lengths or distance. This is a problem, because the swim tracking is rarely 100 per cent accurate when it comes to measuring the number of lengths. It usually gets one length out wrong from 50. Why was the ability to correct this removed in the last few weeks?
I have the same problem. I want to input the correct distance I went so that garmin connect will calculate my pace. I'd like to know why the edit feature went away and I hope they fix it soon.
It has become a bit buggy. In the swimming bit, if you changed the number of lengths, it would change the distance and present this with comma separators and two decimal places, but then throw an error when you tried to save it, until you removed the comma and decimal point it had itself just inserted!
I am experiencing the same behaviour in Connect. I went swimming, but instead of 1000m my Fenix 3 measured 1050m and I wanted to changed it, but without success. Previously there was an ability to edit your activities. Please let us know if this is a bug o a feature noone wants. Thank you
I forgot my watch this morning so I added my swim manually. I was very surprised to find that I could subsequently amend this activity. Options to change distance, lengths and pool length were all available as they used to be on the uploaded swim. Very odd
same as everyone else - can no longer work out how to edit my swim distance from my fenix 3 in GC online... used to be no problem! Annoying as mine always measures 50m too long...
Whose Brilliant idea was it to remove edit feature on swims on Connect?
I called Garmin today and was told it was done on purpose but no explanation as to why the option to Edit swim workouts other than Calories and Temperature. Like they think my 920XT is actually accurate in a pool to not have the need to add in dropped laps. And who the heck needs to Edit Calories or Temperature? So my last 4 swims all have inaccurate data. Well done Garmin...:mad:
unfortunately they don't read the forums so need to bombard them with support tickets on this subject so that they get the message - it is a stupid decision but they won't realise it without some pressure.
