How to re sync a deleted activity?

Hi. Could anyone please help?
I have a garmin forerunner 305, (old yes i know, but it does what i want and i've got a vivosmart HR aswell but thats not as accurate and has no GPS), anyway I synced an activity but deleted it from my activity list on the garmin connect site by mistake.
The activity is still on my watch but it won't sync back to the garmin connect website.
Is there a way of forcing it to sync a previously deleted activity?
I've seen the recommendations for newer models about an option to force but i don't have that on the forerunner 305, also don't have any access to files on the watch either.
Have i just lost my 5.2 mile run or is there a way to get it back?

Thanks
  • You should be able to locate the file on the watch and import it into Garmin Connect; not having a 305 I am not sure what folder it would be in but my guess Garmin\Activities...
  • I also still use my FR305 almost daily.

The FR305 doesn't show up as a drive when connected to a PC, so you can't easily get the file off the watch. However, I think you should eb able to sync an activity a second time if it's deleted from Connect.

If not, you could try setting up a new Connect account, link the FR305 to the new account, sync it there, then export the activity and re-import it into your main account.

That would be one way which, I think, should work. However, the other simpler option is to call up the stats on the watch and manually add the activity into Connect. You lose the graphs but at least the summary info will be in Connect.

The activity may well be stored on your computer. If so, you can use the "import" command in the "Activities" window to transfer your file.
