Can't edit recent non-GPS activity

I occasionally use my Forerunner 15 to time a swim workout. Until now I've been able to upload these to Garmin Connect and edit in the distance, pool length etc. For my most recent swim, a couple of days ago, the activity uploaded, but it won't allow me to edit anything except the name. What's up with that?
The discussions suggest that the scope of the apparently newly introduced constraints are not actually as wide as any/all activity or even just non-GPS activity; it looks to me that only swimming activities are affected.
Data from Garmin Swim, Forerunner 910/920, Fénix 2/3, Epix, VivoActive and Tomtom Multisport can be edited here: http://www.swimmingwatchtools.com/ , and then uploaded to GC.
The only personal experience I have with this site is that it worked very well with Garmin Swim data.
