How do I delete activity and the calories etc associated with it?

Hi

Today I recorded the same indoor cycling activity on my Vivoactive HR and a Garmin 800 with HR strap to compare the HR monitor. The Vivoactive uploaded the activity itself and I synced the 800 so I could get the graphs side by side for comparison.

After I'd done my thing I deleted the Garmin 800 activity but it left what I think would have been the active calories behind and also active minutes.

The calories seemed to add themselves to my daily step total. In fact the steps for the day went crazy. I'd only done 2600 at that point and the Garmin Connect told me I'd done about 10 miles!

I don't mind so much about the extra calories today as it was only 400 and the active minutes this week won't be that accurate cause I only had the watch yesterday and if I'm right active minutes go from Monday to Sunday. The extra 10 miles though will throw my averages.

Is there anyway anyone knows to delete the extra calories, minutes and edit the step count to something looking better that 10 miles?

I'd love to know this also, because I ran into that same issue today.

Garmin said I burned over 400 calories today weight lifting for 45 minutes. I tried to edit the activity down to 200 which worked, but the calories I subtracted were automatically added to my step calories.

There's gotta be a way to null out those calories?

Did it add distance to your step distance to? The activity I deleted was with about 450 calories and it added about 8 to 10 miles as well as the 400 ish calories.
