How do I get an incorrectly synched Garmin Connect data value updated?

I recently changed the batteries on my Vivofit2.
All appeared satisfactory, but when I synced the device with my Garmin Connect app , it uploaded a value of 7,200,000 steps for the first hour of April 28th.
I can't think that quickly, let alone walk.

The Vivofit2 has now reset itself correctly, but I am left with this ludicrous figure uploaded to Connect which completely ruins all my stats.
How can I get the value in the database updated to 0 for that particular hour?

Thanks in advance for any help...

Jim
  • You're going to have to contact support. Based on the other thread, you are not alone although Laraasero doesn't mention anything about changing batteries.

    Thanks for the update, GFM1011.
So, should I wait until I get an update from you on this forum, or should I try phoning the number for Garmin support here in the UK?
