CAN WE PLEASE Change the Y-Axis scaling on Garmin Connect plots? - Elevation/Pace/HR

I have been searching through posts dating back to 2012 requesting the ability to change the y-axis on the Elevation/Pace/HR etc plots in garmin connect. Plots look fine on the app but on PC the dynamic range is very large giving the data no meaning (basically a flat line). The elevation especially is completely useless.

Its seems like a very straight-forward request and standard functionality of most plotting software. It would improve end-user satisfaction immensely, ideally a scroll bar or direct number input for the y-axis numbers.

Alternatively, an explanation of why it may not be a easy as it appears would be helpful (no time/resources etc).

Best, provide a control, e.g.slider, to adjust scaling. Then remember it across reloads.

I completely agree, especially for the elevation graph, which is often way too flat to actually see the height profile.

My elevation graphs for running are cute, they range from +100m to -100m. Not the most useful of ranges frankly!

More than 3 years since this post was opened and it should be obvious that this issue had been solved.

Does anyone know of a usable way to export data to another program where zooming is an option?

True, plots are not readable, Y scaling is very bad.

There is no point to show this large scale for pace.

And zooming makes no difference - it still shows pace up to 15:00...

So yeah, those graphs are quite useless. You need to hover mouse on a line to read them.

This is more a bug then an idea. But someone who made this zoom function must have clearly saw that it doesn't work at all (just can't miss that Y scaling is not implemented), so they know, but don't care.

Idea about manually setting scales is ok, but without that bug, it woudn't be necessary.

I tried reporting other bugs to product support by e-mail, but they just don't read what you write.

In short: I tried report some bugs in Connect Web. They asked for an activity file. It wasn't needed for that bug, but I sent it anyway. They stayed quiet for longer time, so I contacted them again. They recommended reinstalling mobile app... which I even don't use. Next messages they just ignored. So I won't be contacting them again about bugs, it's just waste of time. Better write in on forum with workaround if known, so everybody can use it.

If garmin want, they can come here and read users posts.
