Since today I cannot edit any of my swimming activities anymore apart the name. The rest like pool length, distance etc is not accessible anymore to the editing.
What about activities other than swimming? Do you have any on record?

Firstly, since you stated “any of my Garmin activities” in the thread title to summarise the problem, do you have any activities in Garmin Connect that were not swimming activities? If so, are you able to edit any of the numeric values for one of them? If not, are you able to change the type for one of your swimming activities to something else, and then see if you can edit any of its numeric values?

I don't know, since I use a Forerunner 235 (which does not have a swimming activity profile) and don't swim. However, after I changed the type of an activity from Other to Swimming, I can see there are (still) numeric values in the activity's summary that I can edit.
Agree that function to edit number of lengths / distance / time elapsed for pool swim has been removed in the last couple of days. This is a real problem as my Fenix 3 is nearly always counting 1 or 2 extra laps. While it's annoying that Garmin has taken a step backwards in accuracy for recording swim metrics since the Swim watch, at least previously I was able to correct the data manually. Please sort this out Garmin!

This is exactly why I need it - my F3 gets it wrong - it seems to be worse than ever recently too. Editing is the only way. Now I'm even considering a bit of software some has developed to edit your activities and then re-load back in properly. It's annoying as hell.

This actually works if revising the activity and changing it from "lap swimming" to "swimming". But I do not consider this as an adequate solution for the removal of the edit-function within lap swimming.
Comparable to the others the lap counting has been extremely bad the last two times I went swimming. After the latest update I downloaded on my the 920 XT.
It's the same with me : I can't edit the swimming activities but the title when I can edit a cardio training done after the swimming session.

You can still edit by changing activity type to open water swimming
You can then edit distance
Don't save
Change back to lap swimming
You can then edit laps, pool length and save
A pain but it is a workaround
Please raise a ticket with Garmin - they don't formally monitor the forum so won't fix it just cos people talk about it on here - the only way for them to see it's a problem is if Garmin Support gets lots of tickets raised
