Connect Primitive not Intuitive

It's hard to believe that I'm dealing with "GARMIN" when using the Connect software. Garmin is a world renowned manufacturer of some of the best hardware on the market for all intents, but the software is generationally in the past. For anyone interested in Garmin's customer experiences, it goes like this...

You're promised the world upon purchase, but once you log in to Connect to view and utilize all of this data, it becomes clear this is going to be a cumbersome process EVERY time.

Before getting into specifics, Garmin could be aware of the things that drive people absolutely crazy when dealing with software.
Every time you "go back" or return to a previous place, it takes you to wherever the default landing on that page is instead of where you were. Examples: 1. Searching for segments and returning to my map brings me to a zoomed in view of Battle Creek, MI and I have to find the location again. 2. When doing quick edit and changing privacy, the popup window that allows you to select your choice appears out of screen for the bottom half of the list and you have to scroll for every one. Not to mention, it's ridiculous that you can't "select all" and change privacy. I guess it doesn't matter because even after taking 45 minutes to change 58 pages of privacy settings...it still tells me in "Segments" that I have to change my privacy to EVERYONE (I did this) to be ranked. 3. Searches or page switches ALWAYS forgets where you were. See Google. When a decent modern website is backed out of, the intuition of average software remembers where you were instead of taking you to the default. Intuitive, not primitive.

These aren't the end of the world, but they're not isolated incidents. They're mere examples of how the software operates. I use Connect every day, multiple times per day and I can't remember many times I didn't have to refresh a page of close out and reload due to the entire window appearing in HTML.

Many other issues with non-working items, but I can't navigate the software long enough to work on them. You have my history and you can see how long I've used Garmin and how many products I've purchased. That should tell you I'm trying to give useful feedback to a company I care about.

Garmin, you build great hardware and sell the watches to us for $500. Get someone qualified to build a decent site that runs intuitive software. If you think you've got it bad with my 42 year old person complaints, wait until the younger generations are introduced to your products. They haven't even had to SPELL in their lifetimes due to intuitive software. Your destiny...your call.
