Inadvertent connect request

Can anybody help with how to recall an inadvertent connection request?
  • Could you please explain what you mean by "inadvertent".
  • My wild guesses:

    • ‘inadvertent’ means having tapped or clicked on (_+_Connect_) against someone's listing and now wishing not having done so.

    • ‘recall’ means cancelling the request without ever letting that someone becoming aware of the it, as opposed to simply withdrawing it with a, “I made a mistake, and I don't want to be connected to you even if you accept(ed) my original request.”

You are 100% correct ASmugDill - I accidentally tapped on a connection, I don't know the connection & would like to cancel the request & am not really fussed if the become aware of my mistake - I'd prefer not to bother them & recall but am comfortable letting them know I made a mistake even if the accept.
  • Ah, connection - as in connecting to another person. Now I get it.

Yeah, four year old original post—- but had same issue today and found solution.  In GC Connections page you’ll see for that user “request sent.”  Tap that, and a box comes up asking if you want to cancel the request.
