Myfitnesspal data disappeared from Connect on iPhone

myfitnesspal data was showing up in Connect until today.

No data showing for today and all the previous days also show as no calories now.

I've checked that the accounts are connected.

Anyone else seeing this? ideas?

    Same issue on Android

I just started using my vivosmart HR this past weekend and set it up to link with mfp, it worked for the first day and then suddenly stopped syncing data between the 2 yesterday. I thought I did something so I've been trying everything to get them to sync. Glad I'm not the only one that had this issue... I assume if they know it's an issue then they're working to fix it.

Problem at my end as well. GC not picking up my intake logged in MFP but MFP picks up activity calories from GC/ Garmin.

I also wonder about the Garmin Connect Calorie Adjustment in MFP. The figures here looks quite random this week

I do have witnessed odd numbers exchanged regarding the adjustment between GC and MFP. It seems that the integration/sync cooperation requires some heavy review/testing

I've grown less and less impressed with Garmin the more I use it.

The hardware is good, but the integrated GarminConnect website/software is half the product -- it's what's needed to use the hardware, and to monitor the results which the hardware is bought for in the first place.

Yet the company seems to treat it as low-priority, even an optional perk, rather than what it is: an integral part of the product which they advertise and which customers buy.

The maintenance on it is poor and the customer feedback almost non-existent.

Each time this happens, and drags out for days without a fix -- or even an indication that anyone at Garmin is paying any attention to the problems and working to correct them -- I'm more inclined to find another company when it comes time to get new equipment.

I'll happily settle for fewer bells and whistles on the hardware if better software and support means I can actually *use* the system more reliably, without all the constant frustration of intermittent software.

Garmin has received reports of MFP data that is delayed or missing from accounts. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Please check the Garmin Connect Status page to see when the issue is resolved. If after the Status page is updated, and the data is still missing from the account, post again letting us know so that we can get it reported. I do apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks for letting us know that Garmin is aware and tracking down the problem!.... It's reassuring and appreciated. :)

And after all, as they say, to err is human, but to really screw things up requires a computer, right?

Any chance of setting up a twitter feed or the like which could host "we've received reports of a problem and we're working on it" messages like this?

My wife belongs to an online knitting group which does this whenever there's a glitch on the website, and she says it makes it much easier to be patient with the occasional problems. Great big online computer games do the same sort of thing.

Captatio benevolentiae and all that... :)
