"Classic" web dashboard

With there being two code streams one for mobile and one for desktop, can the olde dashboard not be blocked? It was so much easier to find stuff rather than via all those tiles. http://connect.garmin.com/dashboard redirects to modern. It doesn't need to be continually updated. It just needs to not be hidden. Running is quite a simple sport. You've made a training diary a very complicated thing.

Agreed. The classic was MUCH easier to use

Yes. It seems common, not just with Garmin, that more complicated is automatically better. Some of us just want the basics although I admit that basics for some are not basics for others. Still, a choice would be better than none.
  • I too enjoyed the simplicity of the "Classic Look" but unfortunately Garmin removed the option to switch between the two back in January. I believe it was announced in 2015 that the option would be turned off..
  • "modern" came out about 2 years ago, and even back then, people were told that "Classic" would go away at some point, and after almost two years, garmin has now turned off classic and said it won't come back. I'm sure it was a maintenance issue, in that each time a new device came out, support would be needed in both classic and modern, and I'm not sure that classic had much support (if any) for the 24/7 tracking in the new devices over the last couple years.

Two years is actually much longer than many vendors allow when they change to a new web based interface.
