I have the same problem. I want to able to see a continous schedule of my sleep pattern due to work. So if I sleep from 1am to 3am and again from 10am until 3pm, I need to be able to keep an accurate record. Thats why I got this more expensive watch, my Fitbit was better...
Some devices allow you set sleep mode manually so you can record a nap. The Vivofit, Vivosmart, Vivoactive all allow this. I know the VSHR doesn't. However, I find the feature to be limited as you can't add or edit it later.
Like the above two posters, I "had" a Fitbit too, in fact 4, if you count all of the free replacements trying to get it right. There's a reason that I no longer own a Fitbit, and have a Garmin VSHR..
