Changing Heart Rate Training Zones

Former Member
Former Member
I have a Garmin 410 and don't appear to be able to change the preset HR training zones. When i select my device in Garmin Connect and go to settings all I see is notification that Software is up to date.
Anybody got any ideas?

I have the same issue with Fenix 2 and Connect. Under Devices there is nothing but just "Software is up to date" and Serial Number. So basically I cannot make any configurations (e.g. heart rate zones) in Connect to my Fenix. It seems that they are dropping thess "old" devices from UI support. This sucks a bit since I just bought this.

I'm also having this issue with the Fenix 2. I swear I could do this just a few weeks ago, but maybe I'm imagining it. I'm not buying a $600 watch, when mine works fine, just to edit my HR zones....

Click on the "head and shoulders" icon in the left hand margin and select "settings". "Training zones" will then appear as an option - select and then select "device settings". (This takes you to the same place as "Device Settings" from the main menu but sometimes it works when the direct approach does not!)

I am having a similar problem. This used to be available directly in Garmin Connect without a device. I tried navigating as you suggest, but there is no way to update the training zones, just a direction to manage it via device settings (I have a 410). Setting up Resting HR and Max HR on my 410 seems to work, but syncing does not update GC, nor is it reflected in any new or existing workouts or training plans, both in GC and when the workouts are synced down to my 410. Still using old data that was set up before when the facility was available.

Any workarounds or chances for a fix available?

    Did anyone fix this problem?
