Wrong sleep tracking

Former Member
Former Member
I set up that I sleep from 12am to 5am that is my usual time. But Fenix 3HR and Garmin Connect "believe" that I go to sleep around 10 pm when I usually sit down to answer e-mails and plan my next day.
See the graph:

Around 10 am I sit at my desk and the software decided that I'm "asleep" and even in "deep sleep". When around 12 am I get from my desk it decided that I "woke up".

This is not my first tracker with sleep tracking feature but I haven't had this problem before.

Same here. Its been off by multiple hours.

Sometimes it records me as sleeping 15 hours into the future....
  • This is more of an F3HR issue than a Garmin Connect issue. There's a separate subforum for it.

I got the same issues. I watch TV at night before bed, it always interpreted the lack of movement from that activity as me being in deep sleep. I now just do it manually on my F3HR every night. On the watch go to Settings -> Activity Tracking -> Go to Sleep -> Yes. Then in the morning when I wake up I press any button and say yes to the prompt asking if I want to wake up (default is no).

Thank you, could you point me to the subforum.

I'll check with your advice about tracking.
