Garmin swimming pool. Issues to solve

I have used a Garmin Fenix 2 in the swimming pool. The technology used by the watch to count the number of lengths done is based on the accelerometer. So the device realizes when the swimmer accelerates at the time he propels from the pool wall using the legs. I have seen that sometimes the accelerometer doesn't realize when it happens so it supplies a wrong information of the session. I think this problem could be easily solved allowing the user to edit and modify the wrong lengths in GARMIN CONNECT platform so one could attribute the nº of lengths that have been badly recorded and tell the software how many lengths have been swum per time interval.
is there a way to introduce a modification like this. ?

best regards.
