I am new here -- just got a Forerunner 235. I would like to capture my heart rate data for an entire day and then export to Excel. I had no problem in uploading and the viewing heart rate data in Garmin Connect. But the only export option that I see is .FIT. I tried converting the .FIT file to .CSV but did not see any heart rate data. Can anyone please help?
Also new. Have the same request.
Would like to be able to access the raw recorded data.
I have now scoured the web, but nothing seems to be able to do this.
Most of the software at http://www.dcrainmaker.com/tools will do repairs, but not give access to the raw data.
Anyone have some pointers to something obscure I missed?
Much appreciated.
You seem to be able to pull down the data for each day, as a set of .fit files. I've not been able to view these, so I don't know which cryptic name relates to heart rate. I can't find an option for bulk export, or selective export either.
OR java -jar FitCSVTool.jar -b InputFile.fit OutputFile.csv
(Get the .Fit SDK & the tools are in there)
I should have been a bit clearer - I'd not had time to view the fit files then & haven't had a lot to spare in the interim.
Sadly, the link you posted doesn't help with the bulk download issue, or the figuring out which of the 9 .fit files that I have from yesterday actually contains the 24h HR data (some preliminary reviewing suggests that it's probably spread across all of them)
