Where did Reports go?

Under the old interface, I could set a beginning and ending date and Garmin Connect would give me the totals for the following fields: Total Time, Distance, Avg Speed, Avg HR, Avg Time and Total Caories burned for the requested time period.

How does one do that in the new Connect Interface?

Many thanks.

Just tried this - didn't work.

    Thanks for the suggestion though...

Thanks, DMJ. I figured out what it was. Since you reported that it was possible, I went to Connect using the Chrome browser, which has its own built-in Flash player, and I was able to see a page which simply does not appear when I use my Safari browser. (With the aim of better online security, I totally removed Adobe Flash from my computer and have installed Chrome and launch it only when I find a site, fewer and fewer, which requires Adobe Flash.)

Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction/

Thanks Bob, i was having the same problem in Firefox, tried it in Safari and it's there :-)

    The missing "S"

So I had the same problem in that Progress Summary Reports wasn't showing up anymore. In reading this thread, I noticed that one of the participants said he/she wasn't seeing it at https://connect.garmin.com/modern/report, which is where Connect takes you when you navigate to that page from the icon list on the left side of the page. Another participant asked if they were seeing it at https://connect.garmin.com/modern/reports. Note the "s" at the end. On my Mac, running Firefox, I can't see reports on https://connect.garmin.com/modern/report but I can see reports at https://connect.garmin.com/modern/reports. I agree that Garmin should fix this small issue, but in the meantime, try adding the "s" and see if that helps.
  • Progress reports - working in google chrome

Hi, I had the same issue, turns out it be due to flash player.

My report is now there again if I use Chrome

Also cannot see the entry on my Firefox (current version). Can still call the direct link. The drop-downs of the report work as badly as they always have been. The Report On drop-downs disappear after first time selecting something, the topmost drop-down with the Group By is also only displayed properly when used the first time, after that, the content of the report kind of shines through in a weird way, but the drop-down remains usable if you hurry with clicking an entry.

I am still puzzled how a company like Garmin is able to screw up something relatively simple like the Garmin Connect web portal every step along the way. :( I am not somebody who complains easily, but with Garmin Connect, there is always something buggy, always something not working properly. Such smooth devices and such a failure on the web portal ...

Yes, calling the report directly with https://connect.garmin.com/modern/reports has been working all along on Firefox, but the report still does not show up in the main report page. However, the good news is that they fixed the report itself, the drop downs now work in Firefox as they should.

    Cheers, Robert
  • Any advice if Progress Summary looks like this? Tried FF, IE - same result.ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1239387.png
  • Ok, figured it out - language setting had somehow gone to some Arabic language. Issue solved after setting this to English and deleting cookies.
