I am sorry for the inconvenience, but the developers are still working to resolve the issue with the weekly challenges displaying the message that the results are calculating. I do not have have time frame on when this will be resolved, but it is actively being worked on.
If you wish to enter a new challenge you can select the Gear/Cog icon and leave the current challenge and then join a new one. If you do leave the challenge you will forfeit any challenge wins badges you may have won in the current challenge. Again I apologize for the inconvenience.
It's still showing as 'calculating results'. This was for the 50K Step Challenge of 11 - 17 April and it is now the 19th of April. Are we going to get a new challenge this week?

And, if I were to leave the challenge to end the "calculating" message, you noted I'd lose badges from the Challenge. Last week I was in the 80,000 step challenge and the week before the 65,000 challenge. Is the loss of badges related only to the 80,000 stair challenge? How do I know which badges are related to last week's challenge.

You would only lose any potential badges for the 80K challenge. The only badges that would be related to the 80K Challenge would be a challenge win badge. This is a high priority issue for the website team to get resolved as quickly as possible. I do apologize in the delay, and for any inconvenience that this has caused.
