Steps not syncing to mfp and bmr resting calories way down last 2 days

Since the outage I see my steps aren't syncing to mfp and my resting calories is way down. Almost looks like Garmin removed the 1.2 sedentary multiplier and now just counting pure bmr as resting calories.

Anyone else?

I lost data during system's down time

I too lost data from time it went down 04/02 11:05 a.m. till it came back up. I have made notations on my pages in MFP, Garmin about my real stats just as I usually do when the system goes down (which is frequently now)..

I can mark MFP with accurate data by manually entering in my calories and exercise I need logged there, and I can also just look back at my notes in Garmin about what happened and see why steps, distance and other basic info is just not there anymore. I upgraded to a Forerunner last monday, and still have my data sync with strava and mapmyrun..

I will add that no calories going over to MFP (no bmr, no activity level), but what did happen is that I was using MILES and it updated all my past data from running miles to kilometers in MFP and my default is MILES. This is very bizzare how it went back to over a years worth and changed to kilometers from miles.. I will have to open a support ticket for this.
  • While I lost steps as well on Saturday, the odd thing that is persisting for me is it's not syncing weight anymore. My Fitbit scale synced my weight to Apple Health/MFP, which in turn got it to the Garmin app.. but since 3/31, Garmin Connect hasn't read my weight and I've had to enter it manually. Not the end of the world, but annoying considering how smoothly it worked before.

Garmin any update on this? It's causing NO calories via steps to be added to myfitnesspal with how low the bmr calculation is since the weekend.

What caused your bmr calculation to no longer include the 1.2 multiplier to achieve "sedentary" using the St jeor bmr formula?
