    Does this happen a lot?
  • No harm done, it's not like people would do sports during the weekend..

i did quite a few activities on my F3HR today.
wont sync with mobile app or transfer using wifi.

is a time limit to get the data synched from the watch?
  • Frequently Flakey

Issues are the norm, appears to hit weekends most often and appears to be getting worse.
However, I moved to Garmin from Suunto as it was just as bad at least you can still get your track off the Garmin if the website is down.

Connect has been playing up for a couple of days now so it was just a matter of time until it fell over...

There is no time limit "Unless" you fill up the memory in your watch and it starts overwriting the old traces, that would be several days usually though!

The forum software was not developed by Garmin ;-)

The difference between high quality of Garmin hardware and low quality of Connect web service is really amazing, in the worst sense of that word.
  • I wish I could just get Garmin hardware running Fitbit software.

Stuff like this I empathise with though. I work as an I.T. director with a 100% stateside team. Servers always seem to go down on the weekends and people are impossible to reach Sunday morning.

Got my Vivosmart HR on Friday.
I really like it, but I'm surprised to see, that the garmin app relies so heavily on a server connection.
It should sync with the HR so I can see the stats and upload those later.
Instead, the app showed an issue while syncing with my HR.
I unpaired and tried to pair it again, app showed an issue while HR said it was ok.
I then reinstalled the app and only then I saw there's an issue with the server when it wouldn't let me sign in.
It could have told me that there's an issue with the server connection instead of the HR :(
