I was curious how my watch and Garmin Connect would deal with it, so I made sure I wore my Forerunner 235 to bed, checked that it was working, and went to sleep before the switchover.
- I woke up with my FR235 displaying the correct clock time. ✔
· - Curiously, upon successful completion of syncing my watch with Garmin Connect Mobile (on iOS, if it matters) – evidenced by the updated step count showing in Garmin Connect online – no sleep (levels or movement) data for today is present. Widgets and reports in Garmin Connect online maintain, “No sleep data, yet.” ✘
· - I then manually edited my sleep time for today to 01:45–07:10 in the Sleep widget. The Total Sleep is now showing as 5:25 hrs, but the main part of the widget continues to advise, “No sleep data, yet.” That is inconsistent with other days for which I manually entered/edited my sleep time. ✘
· - I synced my watch again, this time using the USB cable/clip with Garmin Express on my Mac. It made no difference.
